On board the coaches, the members were given some light snacks for their journey. As this is their first time travelling by train, the Junior members were very enthusiastic and looking forward to their journey.
Upon arrival at the Taiping station, the members and their PICs disembark the train. The tour guides have been waiting at the station with two school buses.
After the groups board the buses, they proceed to the first destination – the Taiping Museum. The members were having a good time looking at the displays at the museum.

After the visit to the museum, the buses proceed to Kuala Kangsar where the Junior members were given a brief tour to the State Mosque and the Perak Royal Palace.
The members were brought to the Royal Musem which used to be the former Royal Palace for the Perak Sultan. Unfortunately, the museum was closed for renovation.
The members and PICs were brought to the Royal Gallery of the Perak Sultan. The Junior members were having a good time looking at the displays of the Sultan of Perak.
As it is already late noon, the groups were brought to a restaurant and were given a sumptuous meal. After the full stomach, the groups boarded the bus to proceed to Kuala Sepetang.
Upon the arrival at the Matang Mangrove Forest, the groups disembark the buses and followed the tour guides. They were given an educational tour where the guides explain on how the plants produce the seed and grow in the mangrove swamp.
After a group photo, the Junior groups boarded the buses again to their final destination at the charcoal factory.
The members were very enthusiastic to learn how the mangrove tree were turned into the charcoal which is used during eating steamboat.
After the educational tour, the Junior groups were on their journey back home to Penang. The Butterworth groups were heading back to BTCC at Bukit Tambun while the Penang Island groups were heading back across the Penang bridge to Penang Culture Centre.
The bus arrived at Culture Centre at about 6pm to the parents who have been waiting to pickup their children. The Junior members were having a great time on this unforgettable trip.
