21072007 Junior Division Day

On the 21st. July 2007, Junior Division Day 7.3 concert was held at Bukit Tambun Cultural Centre (BTCC). About 307 Junior members have participated in the event and invited about 650 members of the family and friends to watch the event of the Cultural show.



The event started at 7.30pm with the chanting of Gonkyo and the Birthday Celebration by the Standard 6 Junior members. This was followed by Reading of Message by Junior members, Swee Pheng and Stephanie and explanation the Significant of Junior Day by Junior PIC. The Regional WD chief, Mdm. Tan Booi Kee later gave an educational speech to the members in the hall that night.



The Martial Art members opened the Cultural Show with the thunderous beating of drums impressing the audience. The first part of the Cultural Show, HOPE started with the singing-stage show, I Have a Dream from Honbu 1 members. The children gave a very eye opening show explaining to the audience the words by Ikeda Sensei.







This was followed by the entertaining dance show performed by Honbu 5 members with the song Is the Way I like It. Next was a great performance by the cute members from Honbu 4 titled The Happy Dance. The members of Kiboo Kotekitai gave a heartwarming performance to the cheers of the audience. The children gave their best in their performances and brought smiles and cheers from the audience.



The Cultural Show continued with the second segment, COURAGE. The Honbu 2 members gave a good dance performance, Super Number 1. Later followed by the Junior Gym Division who did a significant human tower and acrobatic moves, Master & Disciples which brought claps and cheers from the audience.




The last segment of the show, FRIENDSHIP begins with the angelic voice Sunrise Group choir who performed ‘Father-Mother’s Words’ and ‘Malaysia Berjaya’. Later Mickey & Friends cheerleading dance performance by Honbu 6 members entertained the audience with the Toni Basil’s rendition, Mickey.






Honbu 3 members performed a very impressive Friendship in Africa with body paint and flowery costumes brought thunderous claps from the audience. The show ended with the finale Marching Towards 21st Century Song with all the performers on the stage to the cheers and claps from the audience.



The event ended with a encouragement speech by Mr. Tan Kar Beng, Penang Regional Leader and followed by the distribution of goody bags to the Junior members and performers. It was a memorable evening to the proud families and happy friends watching the Junior members’ performance that night.
